The Big Dig | Family Fun Day
A fun day in Yorkshire as eight serving Infantry Soldiers from ITC Catterick dig round the clock to build an allotment at Leeming Bar Grange Care Home. The clock will be ticking and they have just 48 hours to turn the land in to a working allotment for residents use. The soldiers need your support to raise funds for the ABF Soldiers Charity - a very worthy cause.
This is the poster I designed for the Fun Day with the aim of getting people interested and to convince them to come down to the care home to support the soldiers. The brief was to create a fun and eye-catching illustrative poster aswell as a A5 two-page leaflet to raise awareness for the event. I chose a bright colour pallet and a contemporary style of illustration to appeal to all age groups. The event was very successful and the client loved the artwork.
I have since been commissioned to do more illustration for the care home provider.
